Taha Gürsoy

Founder & Creative Director

Before BushyFam Studios became a studio, it was a collection of experiments.

Drawing, art, logos, photography, filmmaking, publishing and digital projects all started as separate interests. Over time they became one way of working: start with an idea, find the medium that serves it best, and build the whole world around it.

It began with drawing and logo design, then the camera. Later came a work presented by the Museum für Moderne Kunst München, a published book and digital projects. BushyFam Studios is where those threads meet.

Because the idea, the images and the design come from one hand, nothing gets lost between departments. You talk to Taha directly – from the first conversation to the final file.

For Google and Instagram ads, Taha works with a partner.

A Creative Path

Museum für Moderne Kunst München

The Museum für Moderne Kunst München presented the work “Die letzte ‚Story‘ vor dem Ende” by Snope Bushyfam – the name under which Taha publishes his artistic work. The museum is itself an artwork by Hans-Peter Porzner, who founded it in 1991 as an imaginary museum: a museum without a building, whose exhibitions are part of the art.

Book: Der Pfad durch den Sturm

“Eine Reise zu den Wurzeln unserer Ängste” – a journey to the roots of our fears: nine stories about animals who face their own fears in the forest, from the anxious hare to the roaring lion. Published in German under the name Snope Bushyfam.

  • Collaboration with Hans-Peter Porzner

Through the Museum für Moderne Kunst München, Taha worked with the artist Hans-Peter Porzner. Together they offered works as posters via the museum's poster page.

  • Lessons and a charity project with Olaf Neumann

Hans-Peter Porzner introduced Taha to the artist Olaf Neumann, who taught him realistic drawing. Taha later organised a charity event at which Olaf Neumann and the invited guests artistically reworked a life-size Spider-Man figure from a film exhibition. The figure was later sold at a museum and the proceeds were donated.
